To sum up my day yesterday...

I went to Compass Point with Babe, for iBanking.

Was supposed to meet her at Compass Point la, but I dropped off at wrong stop, which is at her house there, so I met her and her dad fetched us there instead.

Then we went Bugis to sing K at Suitez, photo uploaded yesterday :) , I would consider going there again definitely!

Both of us went to The Golden something Mall to play LAN after HAHA, MStar no-lifers!

Boon and Louis Shixiong came to Bugis to find us thereafter and we went to eat dessert !

Omg picture look so messy here but it's actually the dessert from the corner of Bugis Plus LOL.

Can't exactly remember the name of the shop...

But the main ingredient is grass jelly.

In my bowl, I had ice jelly, pudding, Nata De Coco and pearl !

:D Babe and Boon didn't get to have any pearl because I think I took the last share HAHAHAA of what the shop have until they make somemore.

We went to the third floor of Bugis Plus to had some ramen ^_^ .

Babe mixed the butter of the ramen we share LOL.

Ah.

Forgot to mention, King joined us for the dinner ^_^ and Boon left halfway >_< .

After dinner, we proceeded to fetch Sweetheart (who finally woke up from her sleep D: ) and went to Rivervale Mall. Bought beer !!!

LOL.

But in the end we didn't touch what we bought la >_< gg.

We spent the rest of the night frantically looking for part-times in MStar LOL and watched in amazement as Mr Kings showed to us, generously, his gay skills while hugging Babe's bear and taking sips of beer.

Nowadays, the attention of people is so farking short.

One of the thing I hate most about this thing is that, when I send long messages and the intended recipient will be like.

The effort of composing the messages takes more effort than reading it ok, if you can't be bothered to read long stuff then don't talk to me la.

I'm a naturally long-winded kind of person, if I feel there's a need to explain something (even if there is a need to go the extra mile), I will.

In addition, I'm pretty sure I use full-stops and paragraphing to make sure the content is not a block or lump of alphabets.

There are so many people going online just to find friends / relationship, but when they don't even have the patience to check out what you wanna say, won't you be wondering are they really sincere or not?

I am not an expert in news reporting, politics whatever.

But in these few days, with regards to the Little India riots, I have came across the info that two countries actually broadcasted false information about Singapore.

First from India, where they reported the Chinese to be the aggressive ones and scaring the Indians/Banglas into hiding. Well, there are videos circulating around the internet, to prove that this is absolutely wrong.

Secondly from Taiwan, where they reported that Singaporeans are aggressive and it's because of this exact reason that we were throw out of Malaysia. It was also reported that Singapore is a country that fines people for talking loudly on train.

Seriously for the first case, the person who actually release this news to be reported shouldn't be allowed in the media industry. And for the second case, maybe the fella would love to go back and brush up on his/her history, if not learn to use Google.

When I started on my route to learn more about the media industry, my teacher reminded that we will be the next generation to mark our spot in the media world, make the change, and to bring out the best.

A country's media affect the way its people think, and the mindset that the people carry.

Thus it has since got into me how powerful the media can be, and because of that, it is fucking important for the accurate news to be released to the mass audience.

I'm not hating India or Taiwan.

I'm not saying Singapore has the best and most accurate news.

I'm just disgusted at how the official news broadcasting personnel didn't bother looking up the truth before they actually air whatever info they have with them.

Another thing that I am actually disgusted with is the Facebook pages like "Occupy Singapore".

Besides the need for official news, have citizen reported news is a common need as well, because it if through this we get to learn about...

Stuffs that don't appear on the official news because they're not that important or that stuffs that were covered up by the official media because of certain rules and regulations.

But when pages like that starts to use negative comments and written in a subjective way, I feel absolutely turned off.

There are actually people who cannot judge for themselves, and are totally sucked into these pages.

These pages are written mostly by people who hates the government and the country itself.

The admins of these pages.

The people who contribute to these people.

The "fans and supporters" of these pages are filled with hatred and anger about the present, the government and constantly whining about how everything is so terrible.

So Occupy Singapore decided to make a list of the people-in-charge and their responsibilities.

Sounds funny?

I'm disgusted at Point 6.

Even if you don't like Mr Lee Kuan Yew.

Even if you don't like his son.

No matter how turned off you are towards him, a news page/whatever shouldn't be cursing the forefather of the country to die.

Could you have done what he did for the country?

Don't tell me you've never made mistakes in your life?

Not to mention he was responsible for the many lives in Singapore.

He might have made mistakes.

But I'm sure the person writing this has no rights to curse him to die.

A riot broke out yesterday at Little India, and that's the first riot after the previous one over a good 40 years ago.

There've been people making racists comments about the Banglas / Indians rioting.

Some went to criticize the police force for being not efficient enough.

Some scold the police for only arresting 27 out of 400 over who were involved.

1) The police, I believe have made a good effort, having to "arrest" these riot subjects is not easy.

Try snatching the knives from two attackers then pin them down, you're alone, can you do it?

Obviously not easy.

(A) You're outnumbered.

(B) They are dangerous.

And in the police's case, they can't even open fire cuz that will bring even more rage out of those who are rioting at the same time while they're trying to defend themselves.

Appreciate the fact that 27 were caught, not a bad start.

2) A foreign talent from China "killed" a Singaporean cab driver.

It triggered a dispute between Singaporeans and the FTs from China, where Singaporeans scolded the government and the FTs from China. For that matter, I think most Singaporeans are just taking the chance to lash out at the FTs and our government because for the recent years, we're all sharing this belief that FTs are taking our job vacancies with their acceptance for low wages, instead of the grieve for the cab driver.

I believe somehow, these workers who got themselves involved in the riot are unhappy to a certain extent as well.

Have you seen their monthly salary?

Have you seen the environment that they live in?

If you're not in their shoes, if you're not them, who the fuck are you to say that they should go back to their country?

If they do, do you want to do the manual work?

Do you want to work under the hot sun to build houses for yourself?

Or to repair the roads that are wearing out?

Not trying to pinpoint who is wrong or who is in the right, what I'm trying to say is to look at this whole thing in different angle.

The police aren't "efficient" enough?

Cuz they're not "experienced".

Singapore has been peaceful for such a long time, how well are the police trained to handle riots?

On the bright side, it shows that we have been peaceful over the years.

I believe this whole Little India riot incident should serve as realistic wake up call that peace in Singapore is not to be taken for granted.

Not an opportunity for brainless fools to constantly throw out racist comments.

I feel really depressed now.

I'm starting to think, that joining the DJHunt competition was a big mistake after all.

At first, I thought they picked only the champion and the guys amongst the top 8.

Bad enough, I thought, being a girl.

Then YiZhen told me she heard QianTing on air too.

So...

I asked Weiling to see if she knows how many in total we selected and she said 7.

6 from the top 8.

I don't understand what and how they choose.

Can't be because of the education level because Dominic my junior who also took part in this competition is further away from the Diploma than I am.

Can't be the age because I'm not the oldest nor the youngest?

I was in the top 8...

The only reason I can figure out is personality, that I am not bubbly enough, but a guess is still after all, an assumption, and I really wish to know the real reason.

I can only come to a conclusion.

This whole week, or probably even the past two weeks haven't been going smoothly for me.

Even though I was quite a sickly girl when I was young, I grew up to be quite healthy and fell ill less often.

I was quite proud of my own body and thankful to my mum and grandma that they have taken such good care of me.

But nowadays, I feel that I am going to back to the stage where I was sickly.

Somehow, I don't feel comfortable most of the time in the morning.

My giddy spells seem to get worse, my heart beats faster.

And this usually happen when I start to worry about something.

Like, screwing up my work today.

Or even thinking back of something that scares me, like a nightmare, a fight I had with someone I love.

I start to worry about the things I say, and think, and then the worry-ball starts snowballing (Merry Christmas lol) and I just feel uncomfortable.

There are so many things to prepare for by the end of this whole internship.

A wise Chair will start preparing for it now instead of during the two weeks given to settle everything.

Annoying heavenly kiwi is taking so long, have been on at it for two days to no avail, kind @kingssleyyy sent me 100 Kiwi seeds (thank you King!) but I'm left with like only 40 plus LOL...

I think MStar hates me >_< .

Have been trying for a Heavenly Kiwi in MStar for a few days now for Alcielle (ign of my character!), but to no avail...

According to what Dom aka naruforever said, it requires fertilizing >_< but that would mean candies = need spam real cash, and if I were to spend any more money on cash, haha I'mma feel guilty like shit...

Maybe I should just play MStar for the game itself and continue with PT, take time with the plants in my house and just enjoy the game LOL.

Besides my own "plantation", I decided to barge into my boyfriend (ign of his character is Alcielle)'s virtual house and cleared up the mess created by his hand-made tornado.

According to him, he was trying to tidy up his house, by stacking the plants to make more space but the plants toppled over and this he decided to screw the whole house upside down (literally wtf his house super messy).

But thank god for me, YES ME, cuz I tidied up his house and started planting :) !
